TYLER, Texas - The Texas-Tyler women's basketball team closed out the first day of the American Southwest Conference Women's Basketball Championship in record-breaking fashion, defeating Ozarks 113-53.

It was much more of the same for an out-matched Ozarks (12-14) team which had no answer for the scorching  Texas-Tyler offense which shot 57-percent from the field and 51-percent from beyond-the-arc.

The Patriots would go up by as many as 62 points in the second half, eventually winning 113-53 over the Eagles.
