Howard Payne junior guard Danyel Bradley (DeSoto, Texas/Bishop Lynch) scored 45 points on 18-of-24 shooting from the field in the Lady Jackets' win at Mary Hardin-Baylor. Bradley was also 8-of-8 from the free-throw line and had three assists and four steals. She scored 22 points two nights earlier at Concordia Texas going 14-of-16 from the line, grabbing six rebounds and dishing out four assists. Bradley’s performance against UMHB is one of the best in ASC history. Her 45 points rank tied for second in league history and is the first 40-point output since 2009 (Kassandra Bills, Concordia Texas, 44 pts). Bradley also tied the ASC record for most field goals made in a single game (18) becoming one of three players in the ASC to make 18 shots from the perimeter and the first since 2004 (Patrece Carter-Spivey, Louisiana College).

OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES
 
Concordia Texas junior forward Isis Johnson (Dale, Texas/Lockhart HS) averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds while helping the Tornados to a 2-0 mark last week. In a win over Howard Payne last Thursday, Johnson scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Two days later, she posted 11 points and nine boards in a win over Sul Ross State.
 
East Texas Baptist senior forward Amanda Rucker (Grand Saline, Texas/Grand Saline HS) netted a career-high 32 points on 11-of-19 shooting against Louisiana College. She was 4-of-7 from three-point distance and was a perfect 6-of-6 from the foul line and shot .579 from the field. In the win over LeTourneau she had 17 points and six rebounds with one steal and a block. Rucker knocked down two big buckets with one in the second half to tie the game at 56.
 
Hardin-Simmons senior guard Joanna Daniel (Martin's Mill, Texas/Martin's Mill HS) had 18 points and nine assists in the Cowgirls win over Ozarks and recorded six points and five assists in the loss to No. 12 Texas-Tyler.
 
Louisiana College senior guard/forward Skylar Chenevert (Glenmora, La./Plainview HS) had her first double-double of the season and one of the best games of her career on Thursday in a 95-78 win over East Texas Baptist as she scored 23 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against the Lady Tigers.
 
Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore forward Bridjai Chaney (McKinney, Texas/Frisco Heritage HS) averaged a double-double last week, putting up 12 points and 12 rebounds per game. She also blocked four shots and added two steals and two assists.
 
LeTourneau junior forward Ashley Stephens (Houston, Texas/C.E. King HS) averaged 9.0 points and 9.0 rebounds a game in the two YellowJackets' two games last week. Stephens had eight points and four rebounds with an assist against East Texas Baptist and followed with her first double-double of the season with a 10-point, 14-rebound effort against Louisiana College.
 
Ozarks senior guard Jordana Andrews (Center Ridge, Ark./Nemo Vista HS) hit 6-of-10 from the three-point line on her way to averaging 16 points per game over two games.
 
Sul Ross State freshman forward Ivette Trujillo (El Paso, Texas/Andress HS) led the Lobos in scoring last week, averaging 17 points per game. Trujillo made 50 percent of her shots from the field (13-of-26) and averaged 7.0 rebounds per contest. She was 8-of-15 from the field and scored 21 points against Concordia Texas Saturday. Trujillo has scored in double figures in each of her last three games.
 
Texas Dallas senior guard Madi Hess (Austin, Texas/Cedar Park HS) averaged 15.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game as the Comets split a pair of ASC home games last week. Hess had 10 points and seven assists in Thursday's home loss to No. 12 Texas-Tyler. She then recorded her third double-double of the season with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while adding four assists, in a win over Ozarks Saturday. Hess shot .421 from the field and hit 5-of-12 three-pointers over the two games.
 
Texas-Tyler senior forward Brittany King (Mesquite, Texas/Horn HS) led the No. 12 Patriots to a 2-0 week, holding on to first-place with a win over Texas Dallas and Hardin-Simmons. King totaled 18 pts and 16 rebounds against UTD, and scored 23 points and hauled in seven rebounds against the Cowgirls.
