The 2014 American Southwest Conference Baseball Championship will be hosted by Concordia Texas and held at Tornado Field in Austin, Texas. Concordia recorded a 22-10 mark in ASC play to clinch the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the ASC Championship.

The ASC Baseball Championship is scheduled to be played May 7-10 with the possibility of an extra game May 11. An eight-team double-elimination event, the ASC Championship consists of 14 games with a possible "if necessary" 15th game. In a double-elimination format, the 15th game will played if an undefeated team playing in the championship loses the first game.

Eight different member institutions have hoisted the trophy at the ASC Baseball Championship. The defending champion, Texas-Tyler, won its third championship in the last five years. Tournament host Concordia Texas boasts three championships including consecutive crowns in 2011 and 2012.

The 2014 ASC Championship is the 18th in league history and is the first since 2004 to be played in its entirety in one location. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets will be available for purchase at the stadium on game days.

The winner of the tournament is the ASC champion and earns an automatic qualification into the 2014 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship. Selections for the NCAA Championship will be held May 11 on NCAA.com. The Regionals will be played May 14-18 and the Championship is scheduled for May 23-27 and will be hosted by Lawrence University and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wis.
