RICHARDSON, Texas – No.5 Texas-Tyler upends No. 4 Concordia Texas 104-86 to advance to the ASC Men’s Basketball Tournament semifinals.

The win marks the first for the Patriots in the ASC Tournament.

Junior forward Travis Dykman led the Patriots with a game-high 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting and 11-of-14 from the free-throw line. Senior guard Joe Stephens added 26 points and led the team with three treys and was 10-of-14 from the field.

Texas-Tyler will face the winner of the Texas-Dallas vs. East Texas Baptist game in the semifinal round on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.

Concordia Texas was led by junior guards Josh Sanchez and Andre Potts. Sanchez scored a team-high 26 points and was 5-of-9 from behind the arc. Potts added 25 points and was 10-of-17 from the field. The Tornados finish their season at 16-10 overall.
