NOTES:
East Division teams No. 21 Louisiana College, Mississippi College and Texas-Dallas all went 4-0. UTD did so for the first time in program history. . . LC improved its record winning streak at the annual event to 35 games, which dates back to 2004. It took a 6-5, walk-off win in eight innings against Hardin-Simmons on Saturday night to keep the streak intact. . . . MC improved its win streak to 12 games in Farmers Branch and has prevailed 27 out of its last 29 times. . . . Concordia Texas became the first team in 25 tries to beat Texas-Tyler at the First Pitch. It was also No. 2 UT Tyler's first loss of the season (9-1). . . Just as UT Tyler, No 23 East Texas Baptist went 3-1 at the event with its loss coming to CTX. . . . UTD allowed a tournament-low two runs and matched MC with two shutouts. . . . MC plated a tourney-high 36 runs.
