SKILLMAN, NJ --- Hardin-Simmons senior singles player Lisa Mertz and the Texas-Tyler doubles team of junior Sydni Hermsdorf and senior Emily McRae have been named Division III All-Americans by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

Mertz (Cleburne, TX / CHS), the American Southwest Conference West Division Most Valuable Player, went 13-5 at No. 1 singles, including a 6-0 mark in ASC division play.

Hermsdorf (Spring, TX / Klein HS) and McRae (Katy, TX / Collin County JC) combined to go 17-7 overall at No. 1 double play, including a 5-0 mark in ASC division play. They also helped fuel conference and division crowns.

The ITA announces Small College All-America teams for NCAA Divisions II and III, NAIA and NJCAA.
