TYLER, TX -- The University of Texas at Tyler men's and women's tennis teams used a pair of 9-0 wins over Mississippi College in their final regular season matches to secure their eighth and sixth American Southwest Conference East Division tennis championships, respectively.

The Patriots won the matches to remain perfect in ASC East play and secure the No. 1 seeds from the Division in the ASC Championships set for April 29-May 1 at the site of the West Division's women's highest seed - either Hardin-Simmons or Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Both teams will receive a first-round bye in the ASC tournament.
