The Patriots and added two more in the fifth on a Juneau double and a Tyler Clakley sacrifice for a 5-0 advantage. The Choctaws answered with a pair or runs in the sixth and seventh to pull within 5-4.

The two teams traded runs down the stretch and entered the ninth inning knotted up at 8-8. The big hit of the game came from the Patriots' Clakley who hit a 3-run home run in the ninth that proved to be the difference.
