RICHARDSON, Texas –– Concordia Texas senior forward Brad Walker was named to D3hoops.com's national Team of the Week for games played between January 11-17. It was the ASC West Division Preseason Player of the Year’s third appearance on the national honor roll.

Walker scored 22 in a one-point loss at Mary Hardin-Baylor and followed that up with back-to-back 23-point games in wins over Howard Payne and SulRossState. Walker averaged 22.7 points and 7.7 rebounds and has scored 22 or more in five consecutive games.

Walker joins Gettysburg’s Andrew Powers as the only players in the country to have been honored three times by the national publication. A player from the ASC has appeared on the list four times this season. Ozarks’ Blake Mitchem was honored for the week of Nov. 30-Dec. 6.
