Texas-Dallas senior Alisha Lorren (Lindale, Texas / LHS) won at No. 6 singles and No. 2 doubles to fuel a team win over Hardin-Simmons in her regular-season home finale. Lorren won 6-2, 6-4 in singles and teamed with Mindy Tiu for an 8-3 victory in doubles. Lorren is now 8-2 in doubles this season with four different partners.

 
WEST DIVISION

 
Brittni Fausett, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor

Mary Hardin-Baylor senior Brittni Fausett (Cameron, Texas / Yoe HS) won at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles against Southwestern and division opponent Hardin-Simmons, also fueling a pair of team wins. Fausett, who takes the division’s top weekly award for the second time this season, won in straight sets in singles and teamed with AshLee Bilbo in doubles. Fausett’s performance against HSU helped the Lady Cru cap an undefeated mark in division play.

 
 
OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES:

Mississippi College’s Abby Bassie won at No. 5 singles against Rhodes. . . . Texas Lutheran’s Caitlin Zarr won at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles against Colorado College and Sul Ross State.
