Mississippi College sophomore Dudley Lampton (Brookhaven, Miss. / Brookhaven Academy) won at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles on the road against Rhodes. Lampton won in straight sets – 6-3, 6-4 – in singles and teamed with Matthew Martin for a 9-8 (7-5) victory in doubles.

 
WEST DIVISION

 
Will Summers, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor

Mary Hardin-Baylor senior Will Summers (Belton, Texas / BHS) won at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles against Southwestern and division opponent Hardin-Simmons, fueling two team wins. Summers, who takes the division’s top weekly award for a third time this season, won in straight sets in singles and teamed with Collin Davies in doubles. Summers’ performance helped UMHB top HSU for the first time in eight seasons.

 
OTHER TOP PERFORMANCES:

Texas Lutheran’s Sanio Dizdarevic won twice at No. 1 singles against Colorado College and Sul Ross State. . . . Texas-Dallas’ Byron Cole won at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles against Hardin-Simmons.
