The American Southwest Conference is looking for a design that will grace the grey T-Shirts worn by all 2010-11 conference champions during post-game celebrations. Any student currently enrolled at an ASC institution is allowed to submit one entry by e-mail to the Conference Office by Monday, September 13. More details inside!

Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball head coach Micah Wells has submitted his resignation, effective August 2. Wells will be taking a teaching position in order to spend more time with his family. Cru assistant coach Derek Dunaway has been named interim head coach and will guide the program through the 2011 season.

Four senior student-athletes from spring sports in the ASC earned 2009-10 Spring NCAA Postgraduate Scholarships, it was announced on Wednesday. East Texas Baptist softball player Adrienne Meier, Texas-Tyler tennis player Nick Kreines, Texas Lutheran baseball player Ryan Nokelby and McMurry trackster Kenneth Wheeler all earned the one-time prestigious grant of $7,500.
